Down time documentation

Platform maintenance 14.07.2020

As announced, the flowground platform was not available on Tuesday, July 14th 2020 from 06:00 - 08:00 p.m. CEST due to necessary maintenance work. Usually all components of the platform are redundant, so there is no need for a downtime. In this case, however, a central database outside the Kubernetes cluster is migrated to the Kubernetes cluster, and due to the associated changes in network policies, online migration was not applicable.

New functions available

New log page quickly gives you the information you need

New log page quickly gives you the information you need

The new log page conveniently lists logs for all flows in your workspace. A search function allows you to filter logs in detail so that you can quickly find the information that is relevant to you. In addition to a selection by flow name, it also allows you to filter by time interval and log level. The time filter offers you a calendar view in which you can adjust the desired time interval with start and end point. Additionally, you can select predefined options such as last 15 minutes, last hour or today. With the filter by log level you can list logs of the same type (level), such as "Error", "Debug" or "Info".

Topics allow easier maintenance and more stable architectures

Topics allow easier maintenance and more stable architectures

Topics reduce the dependencies between the components of a flow. This allows easier maintenance and adjustment of flows in live operation and at the same time creates more stable architectures. They are logical channels through which messages are sent and can be subscribed to by several flows or connectors at the same time. Topics can be defined as a JSON schema in the flowground user interface or through an API call. Using the dedicated PubSub connector you can then easily insert them into your flows.
